Just wondering if anyone else had this too

I have been on the mini pill for 12 months (cezarette sp?!) and my periods had stopped which GP said was ok (fabulous!) so i haven't had a period in just over a year, and suddenly yesterday i started flooding...bit weird!

Anyone else had this?

can you carry on taking cerazette after stopping breastfeeding, cause quite like it and don't have any side effects.

Oh I have recently started this pill, and I started a thread because my periods were very irregular & lasting forever, but this month I have period type cramps but no sign of a period, and it is a good 5 weeks since my last one.
I am thinking that this pill kind of mucks your whole cycle right up!

Bled for up to 10 weeks??!! I hope that doesn't happen to me!!

Twowilldo · 04/12/2007 22:09

I gave up on cerazette because my periods were just all over the place - I never knew when to expect them. The gap between could be anything from 5 days to 45 days. I kept getting caught out IYKWIM!

I've gone back on the combined pill which has sorted things nicely. A bit concerned I'll get too old for it soon and don't know what to do then but that'll be another thread one day.....

I started taking this only 2 months ago, and my yougest child is 5 in March, so you can certainly carry on taking it after you have finished breast feeding, lulalullabye.
My sister doesn't yet have children, and she has been using this pill as contraception for years. She gets no periods at all with it - lucky thing!
