Lung Cancer

Hello.

I'm really just looking for some reassurance. I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant and during this time my anxiety has worsened significantly, particularly around losing my partner or a parent, so I am handling this situation a lot worse than I usually would.
My dad has been having some breathing difficulties for a while, he gets incredibly short of breath/starts wheezing from walking a short distance (literally from the garden to the living room, for example) and so he is currently having some tests. He has already had blood tests, ultrasound and X-ray. He got the results this morning and his X-ray is showing that one of his lungs is different from the other, though I'm not sure how. The GP has referred him for an urgent CT scan which will be within two weeks but I am absolutely going out of my mind thinking that he has lung cancer. Does anyone have any experience of similar situations and willing to share what the results were? I know that I won't know for certain until he has his CT scan but I really need some reassurance today.
