Hello, I've just been diagnosed with mesenteric adenitis, i.e. swollen lymph nodes in abdomen, after a stomach bug. I'm confused at I thought only children get this. Has anyone else experienced this? I can actually feel one of my lymph nodes in my upper abdomen as I have separate abdominal muscles from 2 pregnancies.
I'm a bit worried as the hospital would like to follow up, just to ensure it's nothing else. I would love to hear if anyone has had these?
