Very painful coccyx

I injured my coccyx about 4 months ago and it is still really painful. The dr said that it would eventually go away on its own but I could refer myself to physio if it didn’t clear up in a month. I did refer myself but they couldn’t recommend anything specific.

It is still really sore mainly when I am sitting down. It feels as though it will never go away. Has anyone had this and is now back to normal? Any tips? Thank you Smile

I really hurt mine and it still hurts occasionally 7 years on. I used to have one of those donut ring cushions. The main things that improved it were anti inflammatory painkillers, physio, exercise and strengthening core muscles, and buying a new office chair to ensure my posture etc was correct/optimised at work. It really is painful - you have my sympathies

Also, a slim pillow under my knees in bed 🍷

@ILoveTeeeeeea thanks so much for your reply. Sorry to hear about your injury too. They are great tips. Can I ask what kind of exercise you did? I really want to make an effort to help it get better!
