Feeling shite, tired, dizzy. BP is 95/53, pulse 42. Time to see doc? (getting an appointment is almost impossible).

Sorry, should add- I'm 71, on a v. small dose of sotolol for atrial fibrillation, always had BP on the low side. Your advice would be appreciated, as I'm not coping with everyday life at the moment. Thanks.

Definitely see the doctor. My pulse went down that low with some medication and i didn't feel at all good.

You need an ECG. Repeat the blood pressure & pulse measurements a few times so you know they're consistent. Try taking your pulse manually (or getting a family member/friend/neighbour to do it) as the pulse measurement on home blood pressure monitors isn't always reliable. It's asking a lot, but the person taking your pulse might also be able to say whether it feels regular.

If everything is still the same (hypotension, bradycardia) you might have to brave A&E, given that you know you have a cardiac condition and your medication can, rarely, cause heart block. I don't know wehether it's worth calling 111 first, as I've never used the service.

@dizzydizzydizzy @NoNotHimTheOtherOne. Thank you both so much for your replies. Had a good sleep, this morning, BP is 80/50, but pulse up to 47. It's the weekend, and we live remotely...will see how it pans out on Monday. Thanks again. :)
