Has anyone who has taken steroids (prednisolone) had these side effects from them?

MIL is v ill with pustular psoriasis

She gets very tired and shakey and odd, feels sick and has to sleep a hell of a lot. She thinks she is getting better and blames a lot of her symptoms on side effects of steriods

Now I have taken them a lot in my life (I have Crohn's) and have never had this sort of side effect. Maybe I am just lucky but I know others who have taken them too and I don't know that htey have had them either. Am worried it is either the psoriasis or other drugs she is on.

my ds takes prednis-wotsit for his croup/asthma attacks when the inhalers don't control it.

He sleeps a lot with it but I am not sure whether that is because his body is so tired from coughing constantly or the drugs?

Could they be affecting her blood pressure? Is it worth a trip to the practise nurse?

My friend has to take prednisolone for asthma when it's really bad, they make her jittery and strung-out like someone who has had too much coffee.

Poor MIL CD she sounds very poorly

Perhaps it's more to do with her skin being infected?

I do find they can make me feel sick but usually I get insomnia rather than sleepiness with them. (I take them for a chronic lung condition)

well I do suspect is is not because of them
but becasue of her skin
