Over the last few months the base of my neck has been swollen over the thyroid area. I can feel it, if that makes sense.
Also had possible thyroid symptoms -
Insomnia
Nerviness
Feel really hot and sweaty all the time
Irritable
Eye problems
Diarrhoea (sorry tmi)
No weight loss though
I had a phone appt a while ago with the GP and he said it was probably just a swollen gland, and my symptoms were menopausal. I got the impression I was wasting his time!
DM had hyperthyroid in her 40s but I remember she lost loads of weight before treatment.
Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA
