Vertigo and CPAP usage

I am waiting for an econsult reply, but that isn't scheduled until tomorrow and I am so tired I'm just about ready for bed Sad

Early this morning (around 2am) I had what appears to be my first attack of vertigo. It woke me with a jump and the room was violently spinning which only subsided once I lay on my back. This went on for around 2 hours.

On waking this morning I removed my CPAP mask (for obstructive sleep apnea) and tried lying on my right side - no spinning sensation. I have been fine all day apart from my ear feels full of wax again, but I'm worried if the CPAP will trigger another vertigo attack.

I know it's a huge long shot but has anyone had anything similar, or any advice please?

If your ear feels full of wax again it’s probably that rather than the CPAP causing the vertigo.

www.nhs.uk/conditions/earwax-build-up/
Symptoms of earwax build-up include:

hearing loss

earache or a feeling that your ears are blocked

ringing or buzzing in your ears (tinnitus)

vertigo (feeling dizzy and sick)

Hopefully someone at the practice will be able to have a look in your ears to check.

Thanks Lady, I was just wondering if the pressure from the machine was making it worse. Hopefully will hear back tomorrow, my GP surgery has been pretty thorough since moving there.
