Is this a cyst?

Hi,

I’m going to give the Dr a call tomorrow, but for a few weeks now I’ve had a small pea sized lump behind my ear it’s painful to touch. I asked my partner to take a picture. I am thinking it’s a cyst due to the hole I think I can see in it!

Yes I’ve had these before, it looks like a sebaceous cyst. Does it smell a little cheesy? If you hold a warm flannel to it, it can help, mine eventually ‘popped’, the gunk inside was foul!

But by all means, get it checked out, I am not a doctor!
