Tooth really hurts :(

I have a filling in my back molar (about 3 years old). It’s the last one before my wisdom tooth at the top right. My wisdom tooth is coming through (dentist said it wouldn’t as it’s impacted?..) it’s semi through and I don’t know if it’s that that causing the issue or something else but the tooth is SO sore to touch/bite down. :( what do you think it could be?

Is it possible the filling has fallen out? I have one in the exact same place, I've had it for a few years and conveniently when all dentists are pretty much unavailable, it fell out 😭 it's a nightmare trying to eat only from one side and don't get me started when any water comes into contact with it.
Any luck with being able to see someone about it? Flowers

I’m going to ring on Tuesday. I think it could be! It’s so sore, even touching it with my tongue hurts. It feels like a hole in the middle of the tooth with my tongue, but I can’t see in the mirror because it’s a top tooth :(

Try using your phone camera to get a better angle on it.

A wisdom tooth pushing through could easily be creating all the pain though, fingers crossed whichever it is it'll be fixable easily.

If it feels like a hole in the middle then it most likely sounds like it has fallen out, mine felt exactly the same Sad hopefully you can get an appointment soon!

Hopefully you can get an appointment. In the short term, whisky is your friend. Neat whisky held on the hole.

Wisdom teeth are the devil. I've got all four and only two are fully through even now, 8 years after they all broke skin.

Get them checked by the dentist. Unfortunately they might be fine - wisdom teeth just really hurt.
