Lump in my neck

Hi I'm wandering if anyone has the same to stop my worry. I noticed a few months ago I had 2 lumps on the side of my neck next to each other kind of bean shaped I think it's the cervical glands from hat I've read. They are hard but moveable and dont hurt when touched. During lockdown I had a phone consultation with a doctor about a different problem and mentioned the lumps and all she said was it's not related to the problem I rang for and that was it. Since then I've noticed another lump above that one and I sometimes get neck ache in the morning and throughout the day. I've attempted to contact the doctor but couldn't get an appointment so I'm going try again next week bit in the mean time has anyone else had the same. I havnt had a cold or infection so not sure what it is but it's making me really worry. I had a cancer check in December by bloods due to a cyst and all that came back ok. I'm not sure how long the lumps have been there until I noticed them. Any ideas? Please I'm freaking out. Tia

Definitely try to get them seen by a doctor as soon as you can. I hope it's nothing sinister but you never can tell and anything requiring surgery in the neck area is awkward so I would have thought you want it done as early as possible while the lumps are small.

Sounds like lymph glands, mine are rugby ball shaped when they pop up, but do get them checked.
They will prevent infection so you won’t necessarily know they are doing their job, they don’t only come up when you feel ill/have an infection.

Speak to the doctor again asap. 9 times out of 10, it's nothing sinister obviously! But a doctor should at least refer you for a scan within a couple of weeks.

Thankyou for your replies. They dont seem to be getting bigger or anything like that and they aren't painful it's just the odd neck ache I get in the morning and during the day. I feel ok in myself but I'll definitely get them checked.
