Enlarged spleen

Had a scan recently for abdominal pain on my right hand side. Scan showed a light fatty liver but by chance found my spleen enlarged and nothing to do with my symptoms.
Has anyone had this please?
Dr is taking more specific bloods and possibly rescan in case a virus has caused it. Has mentioned a few other possibilities like glandular fever and things more serious but he's very thorough.

My very enlarged spleen turned out to be splenic marginal zone lymphoma. Good luck OP

My mum has this - turned out to be non hogkins lymphoma. Sorry to worry you. Hope yours is nothing sinister.

How enlarged ? I had this when i had gallbladder problems . MyGP referred me to a hemotologist who did all relevant tests and scans and was really through . I see him once a year but he just feels it’s one of those things . Nothing he could find to suggest why

Thankyou for your replies. I'm so worried. Recently had blood tests and nothing showed up, wouldn't my bloods have shown something if its serious?
Have my blood test on Tuesday.

Nearly 3 years later I know but searched on here for enlarged spleen and this appeared...are you OK? What was your outcome if I may ask? Blood tests tomorrow and worried! TIA.
