she seems to be ok within herself as long as you hold her! lol. but other than that she is healthy baby good weight and formula fed. she is bringing up more than normal posseting. its not projectile.

is it just a off day? i'm tad worried but not overly

what did they say? Has she got a temperature?

It's always worrying when little ones are sick. Is she bringing it up with wind? You could try winding her half way through the feed and see if that helps. She could be starting a growth spurt and is hungrier than usual - my DS used to take too much and bring some/all of it back sometimes. However, if your DD starts to show any sign of dehydration (sunken fontanelle, listless, etc. ) then I would get the out-of-hours doctor to look at her as she is so young.

thanks girls

no temp
bringing up wind ok
just had couple of oz and settled to sleep on me so will out her to bed.

been told to keep eye on her and maybe offer her some water to stop dehydration and if any worse get doc.

I was absolutely pants at winding so we were pretty much 2 oz in 1 oz out for a long time.

you'll be awake every hour tonight checking on her won't you? Hope she is better in the morning.

bubblagirl · 30/11/2007 18:35

hi my ds was the same at this age he wanted more than he could actually drin k i had to feed 2 oz every hour or 2 untill stopped sicking up then gradually increase bottle again

winding after every ounce worked as he winded fine but was a very windy baby also propping up for half an hour after feed all htese did help untill he was big enough to manage

although did take him gp who gave gaviscon for silent reflux which my 16 weeks stopped and he was fine it was due to drinking to much too quick

Santasmissyontheside · 30/11/2007 18:57

thanks she seems to have settled ok now. she is usually excellent at winding and i have not even had any sign of colic.... yet! so i think that she has a bit of a tummy upset. thanks again. she is quite greedy so you're prob right about having a spurt

Raise the head of her mattress with a towel underneath just in case she pukes in the night xx
