Cervical ectropion

Hi. I was just after some positive experiences from ladies who have cervical ectropion. Does anyone have cervical ectropion which bleeds after sex and your smears have been normal? I am so worried. The nhs websites say cervical ectropion is not linked to cervical cancer but i am just wondering what about cervical ectropion with symptoms like bleeding after sex and vaginal discharge?

Please can someone help me.

I had cervical erosion, which was noted at my last smear 2 years ago. I never knew I had it and never had any symptoms and smear came back all clear. I was very anxious though after nurse had told me and i googled.

I had this - smear test came back clear. Apparently it's more common if you've been on hormonal contraception. I chose to have cryotherapy to stop the issue which (wasn't that pleasant but could have been worse) worked.

Hi thanks for commenting. I just wish to find ladies who have cervical ectropion and have been fine many years later. Do you worry about cervical ectropion or are you still happy even though you still have cervical ectropion?

I've had cervical ectropian for many years (at least 15) and often bleed after sex. Never had treatment for it. Have had regular smears and all have been fine.
