I had a phone appt with the doctor last week following some bowel symptoms and was told to come in for bloods and to collect a qFIT test today. Got printed instructions on how to do the test with the test but the nurse said nothing about timings.
I googled and read that you could supposedly hand in the test up to 7 days after you'd done it(!) so did it this pm and handed back in at about 4. The receptionist looked worried and said the last trip to the lab had gone at 2! It will now go in the morning.
Does anyone know anything about these tests and whether that will be ok? Part of me thinks yes as I think sometimes these tests are posted? But I'm just slightly worried generally and if I've done it wrong, want to do a proper one asap. Many thanks for any help.
