Applying for Pip with Epilepsy

Just wondered if anyone had any advice on whether, or not, my daughter could apply for pip. The trouble is, her epilepsy, although constant, is variable and she went through a period of having no seizures for two years since diagnosed, to having a few seizures within the last year. She did get Dla for the first year after diagnosis, but then it was stopped after a year. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Have a look at the descriptions here and see which apply to your daughter. PIP isn't allocated based on conditions, but is dependent on care and mobility needs.

Unfortunately we didn't get it for epilepsy because it's controlled. Dps dd gets highest rate for uncontrolled epilepsy. It's based on needs eg does it mean she had learning difficulties, needs constant supervision, night time checks?
