One of my friends, mid-30's, has just been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the cervix, which is rarer (and more aggressive) than the more usual squamous cell carcinoma. She'll have her "cone biopsy" on Wednesday. She's terrified and I think would be cheered up by positive stories from others who have been through this.
