I had an ear infection - outer ear canal (I think)

I had the drops but I'm not sure I'm hearing clearly and bits of my ear are a bit numb....will it wear off (it's been about a week since I had any pain)

Is there any chance that this might be a side=effect of the antibiotics you've been taking lately? Only, my mother had numb legs one time. Another time, had incredible itching. My childminder had temporary paralysis/numbness on one side of her body.
These were all with dental antibiotics, and were referred to the pharmaceutical companies for info.
Deffo see your GP.
