Shoulder tendonitis

Is so bloody painful.
I was given Tramadol and amitryptaline because I can’t sleep due to the pain.
What else can I try? I’m taking paracetamol and am just off to Asda for some topical gel. It’s soooooooo sore

I’ve had a bad shoulder for a few weeks. It’s ok daytime, can’t lift it too far, but overnight the pain was bad. I use pain relief gel, it really has helped. My shoulder is getting better each week, I can do more. Can’t fasten my bra yet, but can put washing out on line ok.

Thanks for that, I now know I’ve e wasted £9.75 on a tube of uselessness!
I’m going to try to book a physio appointment on Monday as well as another GP appointment
