Just wondering if there would be any circumstances in which you would sell diphenhydramine hydrochloride cream for use by a 3 year old? Thanks in advance

No. Its not licensed for under 6 years old. Therefore they can't sell it to you for your 3yo. Anthisan cream can be sold for your 3yo, it's licensed from 2yo.

Thank you for quick response. This has unfortunately happened this morning luckily I noticed before I had applied too much and wiped it straight off still concerned me though. I should have checked the leaflet but trusted the pharmacist who examined my dd bite before selling me the cream. If anything she looks 2 as she is on petite side. I will head out to a larger pharmacy and find something appropriate thank you hopefully a tiny dab has done no harm
