How long for MRI results

Has anyone had a mri scan recently, and how long did you wait for results.

I don't think mine was urgent, it was a heart MRI, but I am really anxious waiting for results. Radiographer said 2-3 weeks. The wait is awful.

Standard is 2 weeks, with covid I would not be surprised if things were delayed.

On the 2 week mark you're more than welcome to chase them, call your GP / Specialist.

Do you know, do they write to you or telephone you?

I waited 7 weeks for my results but I took it as a good thing. They would have been in touch much sooner if there was a problem. The consultant wrote to me.
