How long a wait for dental hospital? In agony!

I had a tooth taken out in May. A tiny bit of root broke off, but l was told it wouldn’t be a problem.

But it it. It’s all healed but an infected root is still there. It’s bloody agony. I’ve had antibiotics but obviously they only ameliorate, they don’t remove it.

Even walking makes it throb😢

Was it a wisdom tooth? Have you contacted them to ask about having it removed?

I was referred to my local hospital back in December to have a wisdom tooth removed and I’ve not heard anything at all yet. Luckily I’m not in pain but I assume it’s going to be a long wait as there must be a huge backlog from COVID.
