Hi guys just wanted to know if anyone else feels the same way. I have given birth 12 weeks ago i had very stressful pregnancy and i have Health anxiety. Which is worse now all of sudden a month back i lost my appetite i don't feel hungry at all. I can go whole day without eating. My husband force me to eat. After i have given birth i waa severely constipated that i had bad bleeding from there. Doctor said it could be hemmoroids but didn't checked internally for it. Though that bleeding never happened again. Occasionally i had small bleeding bcz i had fissures. I was taking laxido for a month and i had diarrhea and immediately after that i was put on antibiotics because of ongoing bleeding and that gave me very bad diarrohea. Since then it's been a month i have no appetite. I have anxiety disorder which makes it worse for me. I think always do i am suffering from cancer. I can't focus on my baby i am constantly worrying. I discuss with my doctor about appetite she said you are too tired to eat and i know that's not the case. Because i can aleep through the night my husband look after night feeds. I don't know what to do. Somedays i cry ao much thinking there is something seriously wrong with me.

If you have no appetite and can go a whole day without eating then you aren’t fueling your body properly and will be tired, regardless of how well your baby sleeps. You will also end up exhausted. You need to take care of yourself so you can be there for your baby, is it likely the anxiety that is causing appetite loss? Has the dr offered any help for your anxiety?

Is there another GP at the practice you can talk to or can you speak to the midwife?

To try to put your mind at rest re the bleeding, I had rectal bleeding, it was so bad that the toilet water was bright red and couldn’t even see the bottom of the toilet. I worried about cancer too, a lot. I was put on a waiting list for a colonoscopy- it took 13 months (of daily bleeding) before I was actually seen. There was no issue. No cancer, no piles, nothing. I was prescribed a stool softener, despite not having any issues going, and the bleeding resolved.
Turns out that slightly dry stools can scratch your insides and cause bleeding. Once you’ve scratched and bled once it kind of keeps happening because it doesn’t get to heal. Hopefully it’s something simple like that, bleeding doesn’t always mean cancer. Have you tried dulcoease? (NOT Dulcolax) It’s a softner rather than a laxative so doesn’t cause diarrhoea.

Do speak to a GP again about your concerns.
I hope things improve for you soon Flowers
