Need advice over mystery stomach aches

So I’ve been having stomach issues on and off for about 3 weeks-ish (gonna bullet point issues to make it easier to read)

  • so 3 weeks ago I ate 7 slices of dominos pizza, had bad stomach ache hours after and had diarrhea (not liquid just very soft and painful, took Imodium so I could sleep)
  • felt better the day after, after eating a meal I got the cramps and felt nauseated
  • cramps again the rest of the week
  • felt better (passing stool normally for me)
  • this Saturday had a meal, hours later bad cramps and diarrhea (soft, painful and smells bad to pass, not liquid tho)
  • from Saturday to now I’ve had one soft and painful bowel movement with bad cramps

Any advice, I’m trying to put on weight so this is really distressing me plus I’m deathly afraid of stomach bugs Sad

You may be developing IBS, worth getting checked out if it’s being going on weeks

Is it connected to eating fattu food?
Gallbladder?

Have a look at this. What you’re describing sounds a bit similar to what I had several years ago after a Pret salad.

I hope you feel better soon Flowers

@StartSelect thanks, I had some of my mums IBS pills and it seemed to calm down the cramps, how long should I leave it before I contact my GP?

I’d try and do a food diary over a week or two, you may be able to pin point any triggers (if it is IBS) and gives you something to discuss with the GP. I’ve had IBS for 16 years, it started after a Chinese takeaway, I now react to fatty foods, dairy, coffee and gluten.
