Heat rash, scabies or something else... help

Hey Mumsnet

Does anyone know a difference between rashes and a scabies rash.....
DS12 has had a rash one and off for 2 weeks.
When I say on and off it seems to be there when he wakes up then calms down then flare up as the day goes on and generally calms down in evening before bed.
Its on his back, very very slight in front and on tops of his arms. This morning he had some bumps on face that vanished after being up got 2 hrs.
Basically where his t shirts sit.
The GP said folliculitis last week as a couple of the marks had green pus. Antibiotics have made a slight difference.
Sometimes it feels itchy sometimes not.
He does seem to sweat alot.

Of course I consulted Dr Google and worried myself sick about scabies.

The middle photo is when its not too bad.
The worse photo is last week.
The other photo is this morning.

@WishfulThinking34

Is it itchy?
I've not seem his scratch it nor can see any scratch marks. The GP said to give him antihistamines so he has been having one of those for the last few days

Not scabies

Hormonal maybe? Boys going through puberty get a variety of weird things including swollen breast tissue and I'm pretty sure one of mine had some strange rashes.

Crumbs, I look like that all the time, should I be worried? I thought it was just that pilaris thing.

I don't think they are scabies as I remember my dc having scabies years ago when they were in school and they were so itchy
