Nausea on microgynon - will it go?

My gynaecologist suspects I have endometriosis due to severe ovulation pain every month, she will do a laparoscopy, but suggested I try 3 months of back-to-back pill (microgynon) first. I’ve been taking it a week and I’m so nauseous Sad will this go away if I persevere? I don’t know how much more of this I can take! I had microgynon as a teen and can’t remember feeling this then.

Microgynon always made me feel nauseous. To the extent I didn’t want to take it! I would ask for a different brand.

I was always sick on that brand and had to switch

Thanks both. I can’t take any more of this, I’ve felt like shit all day. I definitely can’t take it tomorrow. I don’t know whether to see about another brand or not. I wasn’t really that keen on taking hormones anyway, I might just wait for a laparoscopy.

I also have endometriosis and I have tried a few different pills, all of which made me feel like shit, as well as the coil and implant. I felt so nauseous it was like permanent morning sickness!

Anyway I came off all of it. There's no point feeling worse than you already do. In my opinion if you can't tolerate hormonal contraception then it doesn't matter what you try. All will have the same effect.

I was thinking that too @CasaBonita. I was willing to give it a go, but there’s no way I can put up with this. You’re right about the permanent morning sickness!

I had nausea with it in the 1st week but it settled down.
I did have to come off it after about a year though as I had migraine with aura.
