Really bad hip pain in both hips

So just wondering if anyone has a similar experience. I've got really really had hip pain in my right hip, it's painful to walk, sit or even lay down. My left hip is the same but not as painful. I'm only 26, not over weight. It's been like this for a few weeks now. Was hoping it would get better by itself but now I'm having to limp to walk. Anyone had a similar experience and it's got better by itself??

Have you tried going to a chiropractor? I had terrible pain in my right hip, exactly as you describe. The chiropractor got rid of it but it took 10 sessions.

Are you WFH? My hips were incredibly sore towards the end of lockdown, to the extent that I thought I must be getting arthritis. I realised it was worse after sitting at the kitchen table working so I bought myself a lovely fat shaped memory foam cushion to sit on and a proper foot rest. Hips transformed!

I have this too! My dr sent me for a hip x ray which came back fine. I agree with a pp - I think it's linked to working from home for a year. I don't have a proper desk or chair and my body is feeling the strain. It's ironic that when I'm at work there is a lot of emphasis on healthy working conditions but when we started wfh that went out the window. My sight has suffered too.

Just an update, I went to the GP, I have horrifically flat feet, so I've been referred. He said it's most definitely down to that. Hopefully can get it sorted now x

I don't want to depress you but I have flat feet, wear orthotics...still have hip pain!
