TMI, sorry:
Every morning before work I have a bad stomach with really loose stool and lots of wind. I have to get up early to give myself an extra hour before work as I get 'waves' of it. It is only ever on work days. It's really getting me down. On non-work days I'm fine.
I have gone through every possible cause in my head. I have started to eat very blandly on my work days with lots of fibre and it has made no difference. I am very active at work (always on my feet walking around) with long 12 hour shifts, so I'm wondering if that is a possible cause?
I do also wonder if it's anxiety. I am anxious in general but I feel really happy and secure at work. I work in a small team and I feel really competent and confident in my job role and responsibilities. There is nothing anxiety-triggering in my job (e.g. no presentations or big meetings) so I feel like I don't feel enough anxiety about work to warrant this.
Has anyone experienced similar or have any advice?
