Hac a tooth removed on Thursday. Is it supposed to look like that?

It is hard to tell on the photo. The gap can get white/grey stuff when healing. If you had it you'd be in lots and lots of pain that painkillers would not touch. Is it hurting?

Worst pain I've ever been in, including unmedicated childbirth. If it's dry socket you'll know about it.

If it's dry socket you'd know, the pain is excruciating.

Keep an eye on it and if the pain worsens see the dentist.

Perhaps the tooth removal has caused some discomfort and if you feel it is painful perhaps an infection?
