Dd (17) noticed a lump within her earlobe earlier that was making her whole ear ache, with already-established skin issues at play, assumed it was just a spot or possible little cyst and tried squeezing. Not much happened except it got more sore but went down a little so she left it be.
Now hours later while brushing teeth she saw the whole underside of her earlobe had gone red and purple (almost like a blood blister but under the skin).
Does anyone know what this is, or would be caused by? Should we be concerned?
