Sweaty Under Boobs

DeedledeDee · 23/07/2021 00:32

So years of getting rashes under my 38J boobs not just in hot weather
Does anyone else get this?

I was told athlete's foot powder helps as apparently it's the same fungus . It does work but need to prevent rash in first place

So I had an idea - cotton ankle sock placed between bra and skin with the heel part upwards between boobs does a good job absorbing boob sweat and change daily.

Sounds odd but means no more rashes, no need to add powder.

Have I found the answer? Any one else got tips to share?

I use sudocrem on mine which helps for a while. Never used to get it when I was younger (before DD increased my breast size to massive 😬) Following this thread for more tips!

Oh and saw this recently…

Bargebill19 · 23/07/2021 00:41

I use a good uplift bra (but I’m only a 40g) plus talc and a wodge of kitchen roll. Socks are a better idea - can I pinch that op!?

LucindaJane · 23/07/2021 00:43

I will try that trick OP! I put talcum powder on under my boobs (and belly overhang/apron - joy!) after bathing. I also use tissue to mop up any sweat when I go to the loo. But its ongoing.

WannabeGilmoreGirl · 23/07/2021 00:45

I spray my underboobs with deodrant

lolacola77 · 23/07/2021 00:50

I've had canesten from my doctor for years but it does fuck all

AddsVsGeorgs · 23/07/2021 00:52

I use sudocrem after every shower

Bargebill19 · 23/07/2021 00:52

I tried the deodorant trick - just made my skin peel off under my boobs.😭

sandgrown · 23/07/2021 00:55

Asda little Angels liquid talc is very good but sells out quickly in Summer.

Namechangeforthisquestion7 · 23/07/2021 01:00

I used to stuff a flannel tucked under each cup, and I would carry spare around in case I sweated a lot and needed to change. (Can't believe I'm writing about this!) I have not worn a bra since lockdown began last year and now find I sweat a lot less there than when I did used to wear one.

DeedledeDee · 23/07/2021 01:02

Bargebill. Yes give it a try , the socks work for me , cotton ones - put bra on first then place sock heel side up in middle between boobs.
Place sock between skin and bra. Good ankle socks should be long enough. Sock at end of day fairly moist !!
Maybe on hot days change to 2nd sock halfway through day if getting soggy.

Now I wonder if I can try the same with the belly apron.Blush

When it's really hot or I have a rash that doesn't seem to want to go away, I also find some underboob cloth helpful. Socks are good (with the handy heal curve) as commented, or big cotton pants, which inverted (and if big enough Blush) , will tuck nicely underboob with a handy inter-cleavage bolster.

should probably have name changed to Betty Swoons

You know how some people say wear nice underwear in case you end up in hospital?

Just imagining hospital staff ,'s reaction unveiling me with a sock under my boobs, chub rub shorts and a cloth under the belly flab.😂

I have this problem. Sweaty under boobs and then an itchy rash which drives me crazy. I now use a cream called Eurax anti itching cream. You can get it from Boots, not expensive and smells nice. Apply twice a day after a shower. It feels warm at first and then, just works. I apply after a shower before bed too. It worked on a rash I had from a plaster too.

I previously tried all the other ideas first such as anti fungal cream but they never gave lasting results.

gogohm · 23/07/2021 13:03

I'm getting this image of the female a&e staff ... wondering why they didn't think of it. Buying cotton socks on way home!

Lush do a lovely chub rub powder
It's heaven .. I just can't remember the name
Like fine talc and smells ... Lush !

Bargebill19 · 23/07/2021 18:24

Back from sweaty work. Socks work!!! Although I used small tennis socks and one per boob.
