Any eczema tips?

Im so so so itchy. When I was pregnant last year I didn't have any symptoms at all. This year has been hell. Creases of my legs and my arms are red raw. My neck. Down my cleavage. My feet. I'm itching in my sleep. I've had so many creams and lotions from the doctors. I'm waking up covered in blood. I work in a fast food restaurant and it doesn't look nice seeing my skin like that. I know the heat from there isn't helping but I have to work. Has anyone got any tips?

Oh ouch.. sounds painful. I get eczema and it is worse when I am stressed and in the heat! Your eczema sounds like it is angry. It must be really stressful.. I'm so sorry you're suffering so much...
I tried everything - I changed my diet (no dairy.. didn't work) and tried a whole bunch of creams and homeopathic remedies.. but none of this made much of a difference.
I started using Dermol to wash with - it's made a big difference. You can only get it on prescription and I had to beg my doctor to let me give it a try and I'm so glad I did. Has the doctor prescribed any steroids? It sounds like you need a strong steroid and maybe an anti fungal one if the eczema is infected.
Also, you could ask for some allergy testing? That way you know what is triggering the eczema.
Have you seen the doctor face to face? They really should look at the eczema in order to know how to treat it.

And oaty baths work really well if the eczema is itchy. Just put a handful of oats in an old pop sock , tie it and put it in the bath

Poor you, it is miserable.

I expect you've tried all the creams, but just in case you've not tried this one, doublebase dayleave gel cream is the only one that actually sorts mine and DDs eczema.

Also, I've got a friend with really bad eczema and she sleeps in silk gloves to stop herself itching at night when she's asleep. Think it really helps with the eczema on her hands as she puts moisturiser underneath, but also stops her itching elsewhere as much too.

No face to face appointments. Been sending pictures but I'm limited to 2 pictures on the e consult so I feel like the extent of it is going amiss. I like the idea of silk gloves. I tried sleeping with socks on like I did when my daughter was a newborn but I must have pulled them.off in my sleep. It's actually driving me insane. It's like an addiction. All I think about is scratching which I regret straight away
