NHS Vasectomies

Does anyone know if NHS vasectomies are currently happening and if so, what the waiting times are like?

I just thought, given they aren't an urgent procedure, they might be on hold due to Covid.

Yes in my area you can self refer via the local sexual health clinic. The waiting list is around 6 months from referral.

Yes my husband had his a couple of months ago. It had been delayed significantly due to covid but he was seen quickly once routine procedures started again in our area.

DH had his last year. Was referred in Jan 2020, originally booked for March 2020 but cancelled as covid was just kicking off. Rescheduled for June 2020 once things started opening up again.
