Long story short.
12yo DS with sore ear on Sat.
Increased on Sunday to the point of him crying out in pain and being almost delirious.
6.30pm Called 111 - got through in 20 mins.
7.15pm OOH GP called and wanted me to bring him into OOH clinic.
7.30pm OOH clinic called and booked appt for 8.30pm, which is the earliest I could get him there for.
8.30pm Saw OOH GP who diagnosed outer ear infection and prescribed antibiotic drops.
8.45pm Collected prescription
9.30pm Back home and DS straight to bed.
So, within 3 hours my son was seen, diagnosed and meds prescribed and will hopefully start to improve soon.
