Does hay fever make you cough?

Hi my son always suffers with hay fever but this year it seems to be worse. He has a constant dry cough. Is this normal with hay fever?

Thanks everyone, it seems a lot of you are suffering worse this year. He definitely needs to go to the GP and get something stronger for it.take care everyone!
