Fingernail - not sore or gloopy, just weird.

So - I thought I might have had a splinter or something as the nail seemed to be ‘coming away’ at the side. I clipped it right down to the base (so it’s all lopsided now). It’s not sore or weird coloured (more than usual anyway). I haven’t banged it either.

It seems to be advancing merrily along - so the nail coming away from the finger.

What is this? Excuse the revolting finger - I’m not big on manicures!

I think it’s a fungal infection

Aw crap. It’s not coloured or anything though. What’s a good way to treat it?

Possibly nail psoriasis, worth looking at pics of less severe cases on Google to see if it looks similar.
