An ache down my left side

I'm not in agony by any means, just an uncomfortable ache around my left shoulder blade, down my arm and in the top of my shoulder.

I also have slight cold symptoms, so I'm kind of assuming all related but I know heart attack in women can present as shoulder pain.

I'm 50s, very fit, healthy weight, low blood pressure, so I assume not high risk, although I have suffered a high stress life event in the last couple of weeks. Otherwise feel well (apart from the cold).

Would you seek medical advice? It seems ridiculous for a bit of an ache, but...

Drs can easily run an ECG. Put your mind at ease. Could just be you’ve been holding yourself tense I’d you’ve been stressed but I’ve presented many a time to drs concerned about heart. Get it checked out as you don’t need more anxiety.

No I don’t think you need to for these symptoms. Is there associated shortness of breath or nausea ? Do you have particular risk factors for heart disease - smoker, high cholesterol, diabetes, family history of early heart problems? If not then you are very low risk for heart problems. I think you need to take it easy and see how you go. I am a doctor .
