DS 15months ulcers on tongue

My DS is 15 months and has ulcers on his tongue. He has had a really bad week. First terrible teething with molars which put him off his food. He then came down with a virus with a temp and also ulcers on tongue. Have seen doc who said not to worry about food but it feels like ages since he has eaten anything. Any advice on food I can temp him with? Or how to help him with pain of ulcers? Calpol / Ibroprofen don't seem to help. Thank you

does he have hand foot and mouth virus? That causes painful mouth ulcers and a temperature. Ice cream and ice lollies are your best best.

Cold food sounds good - i will try it. He has gone off yogurts but maybe ice cream will work. Foot and mouth virus sounds nasty. I think I need to go back to doc. Thanks

hand foot and mouth virus is very common amoungst children, it's not very nice while it lasts but should only last a few days. Hope he gets better soon.
