missed period on Noriday pill - advice please

I've been on Noriday since dd was born - 22months ago. Got periods back and regular 28 day cycle about 8 months ago. Am now 7 days late. The leaflet in the box says it is unlikely you are pg if you miss a period, and to carry on taking pill. But it also says pill may cause harm to foetus if you are pg and continue taking. I don't want to be pg, but also don't want to cause harm if I am. Can't face realism of pg test just yet.

Anyone had similar situation? missed periods etc? Reassurance welcome!!!

Hi. I've been on various contraception over the years and sometimes my period has been late for no apparent reason. You may be best taking the test and if you WERE pg you can plan what to do from there. If it shows you're NOT pg the you'll probably find you come on a couple of hours later - sods law LOL . I find that sometimes stressing about maybe being pg can delay your period (or so I find)

I'm afraid I think you HAVE to face the realism of the PG test as it "may cause harm to the fetus if you continue taking it"..that would be very serious indeed, could ruin a life and you would never forgive yourself. Sorry to be blunt
