It's fine. You'll be sore for a couple of days and very tired for a couple of weeks. It's absolutely worth doing.

Agree it's fine though I was off work 5 weeks as have a physical job with lifting. Was sore about 5 days but up and about the next days that's the important thing keep moving. Def worth it

I was very sore for a few days. Take as much pain medication as you can. Write down what you have taken and when it is easy to forget.

Ask the hospital before you leave what medication you have been given and when so you know when to take the next dose at home.

You really cannot lift anything or drive for a few weeks so make sure you have help around the house.

If you can sleep in the bed on your own because you don't want to get knocked in the night.
