I'm going for an ultrasound this afternoon (I know on a Sunday!) the letter says not to eat for 6 hrs before and only clear liquids. I've seen online that I should fast for around 8-12hrs and no fluids.

What did you do?

I'm pretty chunky do worry they won't see through the fat!

I am quite chunky too, don't worry they will be able to see what they need to see. I had to fast for 12 hours before hand. It gave a clear view of my gallbladder which was "chock full of stones". Got gallbladder out two weeks later and haven't looked back

So I do have gallstones but because my gallbladder isn't inflamed they don't do anything about it, not expecting them to do nothing about them

I have gallstones. There's a brilliantly helpful group on FB that I follow. I'm the same as you, only about 6 actual attacks, ever, but since following this group I've realised lots of things I didn't realise were connected, actually were.
I'll find the link.

Great, I find it really useful if only to make me realize I'm not alone!

Has anyone had lightheadedness with gallstones? I don’t know if it’s that or my antidepressants!
