I have just found out dd1 has thread worms! Is there anything that will stop the intence itching?

She is wiggling around and getting very annoyed with the itching,
I have tried Sudocrem but its not helping. Poor girl!

Have you given her the medicine to get rid of them? That should work within 24 hrs.

When mine had them I used a little tea tree oil in the water and washed them after each time they went to the toilet. It tingles a little but not sore or painful.

Only found them yesterday. Will get medicine tomorrow and treat us all! She hasn't complained at all tonight so far!

Apparently they are worse at the full moon... or is that parasites? Moral of the post: they may not feel so itchy in a few days???
