Black poo is often caused by blood I'm afraid

don't know about the poo, but having gotton slightly hysterical after throwing up and it looking black I have to ask were you drinking red wine? This appeared to be the cause of my 'oh my god I'm dying' episode much to the dr's amusement

lol! no i was drinking white wine (which was obv dodgy hence me being sick ) and gin (though not in the same glass!
i remember ds2 had luminous green poo once and i thought he had some hideous disease then i worked out it was the food colouring in the cake icing. gave the surgery receptionists something to laugh about anyway!
sorry, i digress, no i'm not on any tablets.

Black poo can be caused by blood and should definitely be investigated.. I went to my GP with it once and they called an ambulance to the surgery and made me go to hospital!!

Exceeding the stated dose of pain killers can lead to bleeding from the stomach, which would make your poo black. Ring your emergency GP NOW.
