Does anyone have experience with this?
I had to go to a&e last month with excruciating eye pain. Long story short I was told it was probably recurrent corneal erosion, given some ointment and told outpatients would be in touch.
Had my outpatient appointment today. It was literally 1 minute! He said it would probably recur in a few months and if it did I’d need eye surgery. Then told to keep using eye drops and come back if it happens again. Probably should have asked more questions but I was a bit discombobulated… Just wondering if anyone has had this, did it come back? Did you get surgery? I’m really dreading it coming back it was agony!
