I look pregnant. I'm not pregnant. Help!

Over the last few weeks my stomach area has got much bigger than usual. I look like I'm pregnant. I've done a few pregnancy tests-all negative. Even got doctor to do a blood test. It was negative (that was awhile ago though). Not missed any periods- I guess I'm not pregnant.

I'm usually a size 8- always had a flat stomach. It doesn't really change regardless of what I eat.

It looks huge to me. Sometimes it looks bigger than other times but never same as it used to look.

I've got children already- it really feels like I'm pregnant.

No pain but it's uncomfortable.

No other symptoms.

My mind is on overdrive. Is it just normal fat? Definitely doesn't look normal...

Pregnant? Unlikely/ impossible..

Endo type symptoms?

Something sinister like a tumour.

I'm not feeling a hard lump. Just my stomach looks bloated/ different shape and squidgier than usual.

I think it's worse after I've eaten and my belly button that is usually in, is now popping out.

Thanks in advance.

I'm almost 40.

I was due to see my doctor tomorrow but just had positive covid result so self isolating (not me one of my children). So won't see doctor for at least 10 days.

I'm nervous. Has anyone ever experienced something similar?

Thanks

Please get checked out when you’re able to.

It could be various things. Are you in peri by any chance. I'm a size 8 as well and noticed I started getting fatter round the middle at your age. Didn't know at the time I was at that stage. I also have endo, and it does cause endo belly, bloating on and off. Basically looking pregnant.

I would keep a note of your symptoms over the next few days till you can get seen. Anything that makes it worse, or when it improves.

The fact that your belly button is sticking out shows this isn’t normal weight gain. I would ask docs to do another blood test, as sometimes if you’re so far along pregnancy tests actually come back negative. They are false negatives.
I’d definitely seek advice from a doctor as abnormal bloating can be a sign of something more sinister

If this is fairly sudden - which you've said it is, please get it checked NOW. Ovarian cancer presents exactly like you describe. Quite probably something else, but that needs to be checked as generally ovarian isn't caught until it's progressed.

Ok. You've all scared me. I am terrified. I've called my doctor and he's going to see me early next week. Going to concentrate on not thinking about it next few days. Thanks everyone. I'll update when I know more. Scared

Is it really possible to be pregnant despite having negative tests/ regular periods and a negative pregnancy blood test from doctor?! And no other symptoms?!

Depends how early the blood test was. It’s unlikely if you’ve had a recent blood test that came back with no hcg detected. Hope you’re okay
