Name change as I’m embarrassed about this

My (ex) partner cheated on me and gave me chlamydia, I am taking medication to clear it but 4 days in I am having a lot of itching down below and yellow discharge. Is this the antibiotics clearing it or should I be concerned? I have had stomach cramps and cervical pain recently too. Will these symptoms stop when I have completed the antibiotics?

It works out that I may have had it undetected for 3 months, I have not had a period in this time for unknown reasons at the time, could it have made me infertile?

I am very upset this has happened to me so please be kind, any words of advice or reassurance would be appreciated

Finish your course of antibiotics as prescribed and if you still have symptoms book an appointment.

The itching stopped but I am now bleeding on and off. It’s not a period. Does this happen while it’s clearing itself or should I be worried about getting new symptoms during treatment? It feels like it’s from the cervix based on the cramps I can feel there.

@Minieggatxmas im so sorry that happened to you. You will be fine. But I would book to see your gp - mostly to ease your mind. It is unlikely that you have got pelvic inflammatory disease after just 3 months of chyl infection. The amenorea is probably not related, but best to be sure. Did you do any other sti tests?
