I was in A&E the other night, and the nurse took an ear temperature, but she shoved the thing in so hard that I cried out in pain. They usually do it gently. Since then I've had a weird fluttering/pulsing in my ear which pretty much goes away if I put an ear plug in, but I'm a bit worried. Could she have damaged my ear?
