I'm always sick

Hi, I just wondered if anyone could help me? For about a year/year and a half I'm sick most nights, it comes with an excruciating stomach pain as well, only ever lasts about an hour but it's so debilitating. I thought it might be anxiety, I've been seeking help but this isn't going, even with new medication. So I saw the dr who said it was indigestion and heartburn and prescribed omeprazole, I've also now been taking this a few months and very little change.
I don't know if it's related to the fact I'm struggling to lose weight, I've been sticking to 1200 calories a day but in 2 months have lost 5lbs only, I'm 14stone so I thought it would be more. My hair is also getting very thin and I'm also always cold. I don't want to pester my dr but I just want to feel a bit better.

I would absolutely see a doctor and wouldn't consider it pestering. I would think you'd need some tests done at the very least.

Hope you get some answer and feel better!

You could be coeliac, but it’s impossible to tell - I’d definitely see a GP.

Sounds like you could have gallstones, your GP should refer you for a scan. Please speak to your doctor again.

I'd get checked for thyroid issues with the lack of weight loss, hair issues and feeling cold. Best of luck.

Keep a food diary. The pain might be related to what you had for dinner if you get the sickness 4 or 5hrs after eating you evening meal.

Possible thyroid issues was what sprung to mind for me when I read the post

Op it is not pestering if you have tried the prescribed medication for a few months and your symptoms haven't improved. I had sickness like you describe and I had an ovarian cyst. It was benign but pretty big.

Vomiting every night is not normal. Sounds like you need an abdominal ultrasound scan and a gastroscopy (camera in stomach) as a minimum. Definitely go back to your GP.
