Dh returned from A&E about an hour ago, having had some wounds on his face glued and steri-stripped. He was hungry, so he had a very late lunch. But chewing seems to have made the wounds bleed again. Blood is seeping from the edges of the wounds. Is this anything to be concerned about? The hospital didn't tell him not to eat, just not to get the wounds wet.
