He had a bad fall at playgroup and hit his ear.He had a few tears and that was that.He has also has had his fingers in his mouth a lot and has had and upset tummy for the past two days.Just not himself.Could this be his teeth giving him problems or anything else.Have taken him to docs yesterday to have his ears checked-all ok.Help......x

when did he have the fall? It's good that the doctors say his ears are ok.

It could be teething, it could also be a virus causing the upset tummy - there are loads around at the moment.

I would say the other incidents happening at this time are a coincidence, nf. My ds (2.5) went through a phase of this last month. He has a very big head which doesn't help! I have bought the next size up in tops for him which means I can whip them on and off more quickly, and try to distract him just before I do it. It's a phase. Next month he'll be screaming when you try to change his nappy/trousers/brush his hair . At this age they discover the power of objection - that's all!

It could be his ears are sensitive, anyway.

I always tug on the neck band before putting tops on, if they're tight.

Im not sure,it seems like he is in pain when im doing it you know the high pitched scream rather than the im p*ed off with you one.
